The official trailer for Universal Picture’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestseller Reminders of Him has dropped, giving fans the first look into Lainey Wilson's feature film debut.
I am thrilled for Lainey who recently said she hopes to model her career after Dolly and Reba who both expanded their music into acting. We've already seen Lainey prove herself on screen in the Yellowstone TV series as the character Abby. Now, this will be her first major motion picture.
Although Lainey Wilson is not the main character, she does play a pivotal role. The story is surrounded by a young lady who falls in love and one terrible mistake leads to the death of her love and 7 years in prison for her.
After her release from prison, the main character realizes it won't be easy to get a job and even tougher to see her child again.
That is where Lainey's character comes in. Her name is Amy and she becomes one of the people who shows compassion and support to the main character when she needs it the most.
The movie is set to hit theaters March 13, 2026.
