June’s got a lot going on- Schools out, there’s more daylight and it’s traditionally the busiest month for weddings. You may have even gotten invited to a wedding this month. Is it because of some sort of convergence? It’s beautiful outside, flowers are in bloom, the weather’s more agreeable, it’s certainly sunnier which is perfect for pictures and outdoor ceremonies. Most brides plan for months to get everything just right but not everybody does. Even the more impulsive couples get married on a whim in June; it’s probably easiest to get married in Las Vegas. In Vegas you can pick-up a license and tie the knot in a ceremony any time of the day or night, any number of ways. There are neon drive - thru’s where you never even have to get out of the car, some couples choose the Elvis Wedding Chapel but In Vegas even extravagant weddings are possible if you’ve enough cash. June weddings actually date back to medieval times for a reason. By June, the ice had melted off lakes in most places - so it was finally warm enough for brides and grooms to take their annual baths. So, Brides, Grooms (and everyone else at a wedding) would smell their best. Isn’t that romantic?
