Fayetteville Police shared a recent success story of how anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers plays a key role in finding a missing juvenile. Recently we reported about a missing juvenile who ran away from home. Crime Stoppers received an anonymous tip providing the juveniles location in Scottsboro, Alabama. The tip was passed on the Lincoln county Sheriff’s department who followed up on the information and successfully located the juvenile safe and sound. Fayetteville investigators said, “ this ia a great example of how the Crime Stoppers programs works. The community steps up, tips come in, and lives are changed. We are grateful for the tipsters willingness to make that call and for the swift follow-up by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department investigators in bringing this case to a successful resolution.”
