The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a flash flood watch for Lincoln, Moore and Franklin Counties in Tennessee and Madison and Jackson Counties IN Alabama along with other northeast Alabama counties. Thye flood watch is in effect from 7 pm this evending through 7 pm Friday evening. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and o0ther low-lying and flood prone locations. Repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms along a stalled frontal boundary may result in locally heavy rainfall the rest of this week.
